No the UAS have been established since the late 1960`s and are a registered charity set up to promote local interest in Aviation-however in the past few years the Society has been thrown into disarray because they are almost unable to admit the public to the small collection of aircraft they have-this is despite finally managing to secure some Lottery funding.
The NIAG are a group of enthusiast's that I believe meet at the Holywood boat club and other venues-they are by invite only for reasons which I fail to understand.
