Was picking my wife up from work in the Royal this morning and thought it would have been just rude not to pop over for a look :)

I haven't seen it with my seeing-eyes but I have been told that PS Waverley is currently anchored off Ballyholme.  World's last sea-going paddle-steamer.

I don't know why or for how long.

That brings back memories. Went to the Isle of Man and back on her.

Waverley gone this morning, apparently sailed for Glasgow during the night :(

Her excursions and cruises have been cancelled for the next few days.

French F70 Type anti-sub Destroyer "Primauget" (apparently the French do not use the name Frigate) has been holding at the entrance to Belfast Lough since 0900. They sent a shore party into Bangor by rhib earlier.

Could see it when on the M2 earlier, tried to see what it was on Marine Traffic but it just said "French Warship" so thanks for that Airymouse.

"Provence" finally made it into Pollock Dock at 8pm after 12 hours wait.
To be accurate it is a Fremm Multi-mission Frigate.

The French Navy have gone. (without damaging the Lagan foot bridge- unlike one of the Nato crews last week)
