What ever happened to the Tecnams?

Someone might stand to correct me here... but what ever happened to the UFC buying a fleet of Tecnams? Presumably to replace the 172?

One had a accident in a nearby football pitch - not sure if it was repaired, and the other was either sold or returned, again I`m not sure of the details.

G-UFCL went to TecAir Ltd Reading. G-UFCM was written off.

I believe G-UFCL went back to the factory in Italy for quite a long time, when it returned to Ards it was put up for sale as the decision had been made to standardise on the Cessna types.

Waterford and Limerick Flying Clubs have a couple of P2002s each.
