Popping flares
« on: October 24, 2009, 01:10:46 PM »
Speaking to my brother today and he asked if I'd heard of helicopters popping flares Thursday week ago. A friend of his had seen a large helicopter popping the flares possibly over the lough to the north of Lurgan. Any one hear of anything?

Most likely a Puma testing flare dispensers for Ops overseas-there was a Puma operating over Lough Neagh last Thursday afternoon,I only saw it as it was heading from/back to Aldergrove.

Thought that too but didn't expect to hear of that happening here.
