not quite AT, the helicopter brings the specialist doctor & paramedic team very quickly to scene, they stabilise patient at scene and then transport to most appropriate hospital by most timely means, sometimes by air to RVH via Musgrave helipad & road, sometimes direct to RVH by road, sometimes to other hospitals by air or road as determined by patient's condition.
The vast majority of the benefit is the 'at scene' bit which is what would otherwise happen in the Emergency Department but is now done so much earlier.
