Seeing as there are only 10 days left until the Madrid trip i decided to get out and see if i remembered which end of the camera to point at the planes.. ;D  Here a taster of the few hours i spent at ''Daves perch''.. 8)
And he even cleaned the runway when he was finished with it, :D

I'm glad to see my perch being used in my absence  ;D  Have you ever seen anyone else, besides from myself ever use the mound?

Great catch Don, looks like your all set for Madrid! 8 days and counting...

Great Shots, the grass banks are very treacherous at Dublin Airport and not the place to go "Arse over elbow" with a handful of DSLR and lenses ;)

Theres two main mounds at RWY 28, one beside the small carpark on the road which seems everyone uses, and one about 50 to 100m down the road, known to some as Dave's Perch.

Apart from one local lad with a radio scanner who followed me and a friend to the second mound, I've never seen anyone else using it.

Then theres the lengthy mega mound beside RWY 10, hopefully they'll not let the small tree's grow too big there.
