I'm just interested to know if any of the members nip down to the local airport and if so, how often would they do so.

I've voted once a month but that's basically during the Winter months. During the Spring/Summer months this would be the minimum number of visits.

Thanks for all the replies so far. I forgot to add that I try to go spotting at least every two weeks although if the weathers really bad then i'll not bother. If there's sunny weather and I'm not working, I try to make the most of it where ever possible.

I take pics as often as possible-normally dictated by the weather!

I am very fortunate as I don`t have to go too far-just over my garden hedge and into a field ;D  Wellies required at the moment and maybe a shovel-ground is soooooo wet :(
