G-APSA to scrap?
« on: January 24, 2018, 09:03:47 PM »
Hearing elsewhere that DC6 G-APSA will soon be scrapped. Currently at Coventry and made many trips over here on the Coventry-Belfast run with Air Atlantique. Would be sad to see it come to that. Fantastic aircraft. Surely there would be a buyer somewhere?

That would be awful,I believe it`s owners are reg in the Cayman Islands, and G-APSA last COA expired in 2009.
It did an amazing display at Portrush in 2007.

Reading that a buyer has stepped in and bought G-ASPA as well as another DC6.  They will be dismantled before going to either Bruntingthorpe or St Athan by road for re-assembly..
