They were low, definitely sub 1000ft. I didn't get a good look, it was dark, but twin engine, and heading straight East!

Perhaps related to Joint Warrior currently underway around Galloway? There was helicopter activity from 21:00 to 23:30 yesterday.

I think they where about 18,000ft over Belfast but climbing. heard first one but couldn't see it. fully thing though, when it got to Stroke City it did a hard right up Lough Foyle then about 10 mile of shore hooked left out to Atlantic, almost like they couldnt go over TOO airspace, but only realised last minute. picture link attached. second bird flew a straighter route out over NI airspace.
