Portrush 2010 - not looking good?
« on: December 30, 2009, 01:36:27 PM »
Just noticed that the domain

http://www.niinternationalairshow.co.uk/

has been suspended i.e. it hasn't been renewed. I wonder is this a pointer of things to come?

Link is working fine now, notice last line too, "lets hope for another corker 2010", i cant see how they wouldnt put some sort of show on, the amount of cash it brings into the north coast is unreal !

Hi Folks - happy new year.
The site was down because it has to be renewed every 2 years and despite me giving our IT lads 2 months notice they "forgot" - too busy playing World of Warcraft or Pacman or whatever.
A budget for 2010 show has been allocated, waiting Council approval, and all the bids have been made to MoD. Just hope that businesses will be falling over themselves to contibute....
So no green light yet - might be February.
In the meantime I've started a Facebook site (for the airshow - not to swap stories of how clever our kids are and what wonderful holidays we go on!).
So far it's all pictures - some unpublished - if you have any suggestions or contributions go ahead.

Don't worry, Casper, of course I'll still post all the breaking news here first!
