Aldergrove's Trident

So does anyone know whats happening to the Trident at Aldergrove?
These two photos were on Eastwood Demolitions twitter page today.

Maybe they are getting something else to practise with,the Trident has been there a long time.

They have had a different setup to work on for the last number of years down at the fire training area.

Not really that concerned with their future training intentions.
I'm wondering is the nose section of the Trident is being preserved? Or is the entire aircraft being scrapped?

Just thinking with the nose pictured on the trailer, it seems to be going somewhere.
I would have thought if scrapping was happening it would have been all done on site.

Perhaps the UAS or the Transport Museum are going to take it? It`s a bit big for most back gardens :-)

IIRC somebody has already been through it with a socket set and an angle grinder collecting bits for a museum exhibit.

Pity there doesn't seem to be any local interest in preserving it considering the types relevance to here

The flight logs section on the website is interesting - lots of references to their aircraft visiting BFS including doing the late night Belfast-Glasgow flight taking the night-stopping crew there because here was considered too dangerous.As a kid I remember that flight roaring over Ballyclare each evening
It also gives the names of the flight crews - I noticed Captains Wait & Abort!! That could have potentially been very confusing in the wrong situation - reminded me of an Airplane scene
