Spent a very enjoyable day in the company of casper and Keegster   today... What a perfect way to spend a sunny saturday, snapping planes   and enjoying good company  ;D ...
Totally agree and what can I say but many thanks to you (and Keegster) for making it possible to be there. Don't know about you but my legs are hanging of me and my back is stiff - wife tells me it's my age :)

Still going through my collection from today so here's a few to start with.

The highlight of my day :)

First a big thank you to Casper and Hammerhead, if you guys hadn't been there I'm not sure I would have stuck around for 5 hours  ;D
For someone who cut his teeth photographing at Aldergrove and the Harbour, Dublin is certainly an eye-opener. No standing around for half an hour waiting for the next plane to show up. To a 'Northerner' it was the equivalent of Heathrow.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable day even though all we did was stand around. I'll be heading back to the same spot next time I go down to Dublin (whenever that is).

When I got home and uploaded the photos onto the laptop I found I'd taken 660... 660!!!! That doesn't include the ones I took on Friday.

Below is a random sampling of what I have, hopefully I haven't posted any that Casper or Hammerhead have already shown, there was certainly enough variety.

Nice on guys, looks like you had a great day  :)  Even caught the cargo 747, no doubt that made Casper's day! Great photos all around.
