This was meant to have arrived a few years back, but then Covid scuppered things.Somehow I very much doubt it will be ready for public viewing in a week, there will be a great deal of work involved.Great to see the UAS continuing to grow.
They did say it arrived at RAF Aldergrove and was then transported down to UAS. I never heard off any tonka coming in in the last few weeks.

I never heard off any tonka coming in in the last few weeks.Actually that is what happened , moved by JARTS (Joint Aircraft Recovery and Transport Section) by road from Boscombe Down is arrived by Stena on Wednesday evening and, as it was a military convoy, stayed overnight at the Aldergrove Air Wing moving down to MLK early on Thursday morning. The JARTS team are reassembling the aircraft completely whilst they are here so it should be completed by tomorrow.IMG_20210929_100106 by Tony Osborne, on FlickrIMG_20210929_100649 by Tony Osborne, on Flickr243499016_4933557893325296_61693944327293299_n by Tony Osborne, on Flickr2021-10-01_07-33-02 by Tony Osborne, on FlickrNot sure why it said that as that's not what happened. The plane was disassembled over in England and came across by road transport.
Very impressive they got it reassembled so quickly, those folk must be dynamite at building Airfix kits
