Crikey! You're kidding me? That's a rare gem of an aircraft. Is it due out 11am tomorrow morning (25th)?

Impressive. Thanks for the heads up Paul! I think I'll try making it down and see if I can catch it departing somehow. The weather for tomorrow seems to suggest RWY 07 will be in use so it might be catchable from Killead or there abouts.

Nice catch EZYgoing and of course welcome.

I'm abit disappointed, I had thought it was one of the C-17's in Qatar Airway's livery :( Not quite sure what it's doing here, I don't think it could be a delivery flight as this aircraft has been flying about Europe for the past half a year.

Looked like a load of stairs or an escalator going into the beastie today.

The C-17 was in to collect Ground Equipment for an A340 of the Qatar Royal Flight including steps etc, which are made in Dungannon by Malaghan Engineering.

Confirm from Radarbox it is the same one as earlier in the week A7-MAA. Flew in over Bangor.

It had crossed my mind that it would be back again, after all, the Qatari A340 does require a lot of air stairs which this aircraft was in BFS collecting. Maybe it will even be back a third time? I presume it'll be head out tomorrow sometime?

Rats, such a bummer that the average spotter can't get ground shots at BFS  >:(

Nica catch Angry, much better weather this time around.

I assume it will go out again either tonight or some time tomorrow-just caught by chance,I was out in the garden hoping to get a few contrail shots. :)

Don`t think there is anywhere you can see the freight ramp from outside the airport boundary :(
Would be nice to see the C-17 being loaded.
I have some pics of the Ant-124 being loaded when I worked on the ramp;I must dig them out and post them up.

Cracking shots Angry. Really like the third one. Still can't picture the C-17 as a big aircraft. I've walked through a C-5 Galaxy and it's massive. I've also stood close to an An-124 and it's massive but the C-17 I just can't picture it being big.
