Red and blue eurocopter (I think)
« on: November 28, 2022, 08:58:33 PM »
Hey guys I was working yesterday and while I was driving past St John's point lighthouse I noticed what I think was  red and blue eurocopter? It headed straight out to sea over Tyrella beach yesterday. Did anyone pick it up or have any reference of it ? I'm starting to doubt myself I saw it.

Any sort of times? FR24 playback is usually a good place to start, but sometimes helicopters don`t show up, especially if they are at lower levels.

Skyranger 912 G-CEZE was operating in that area but not below 1500ft, only heli I can see was Robinson R44 G-TSBY which is dark blue, it was heading SE but went OTT Ballyhornan at 1240ish

UPDATE: Sorry, these were on Monday.Duh

Only Heli I can see on FR24 at approx time you gave is R-22 G-SPOK  which was NW of Ardglass at around 1235ish, but it headed inland towards Ballynahinch.

It defo was a eurocopter I think. It came from Seaford direction I think and I'm assuming was heading for IOM at the hight and direction It was heading.

Looks like the culprit. But I swore it looked as if it was heading out towards IOM must have been my positioning
