The Gazelle Squadron
« on: May 28, 2023, 03:07:27 PM »
I was watching a youtube video of the recent Abingdon Airshow and noticed a UK display team I was unaware of, The Gazelle Squadron.
They formed in 2014 as a 2-ship civvie Gazelle team, but have expanded to a 4 ship and they are also restoring 2 x Lynx helicopters to flight.

It would be good to see them as a 4 ship. I saw them as a pairs display at Cosford back in 2018 with XX436 & G-ZZEL.

Didn't know about the Lynx's. That would make 4 Lynx in civilian hands flying. Historic Helicopters and Project Lynx are already flying theirs. HH Lynx made it first display at Cosford last year, and Project Lynx displayed last weekend for the first time, I will see it at Cosford in a few weeks time.
