He's a  very brave pilot for staying with the aircraft so long, especially when you look at the payload hes carrying. :o

Wow as you say stayed with it a long time considering the big green miracle grow containers hanging off the wings, very lucky it didn't cook off once the fire took hold

Clip heading says AV-8B, isn't that the US Marine Corps Harrier?

AV-8B II is the US Marine version but the RAF Harrier GR9 is very similar to it-probably just lack of knowledge of the person posting it.
 
He stayed with it a long time before banging out-very brave ;D

He seemed to wait until the flames reached the cockpit before punching out.

Based on what we were told at Baldonnel yesterday I'm assuming that wasn't a 0/60 ejector seat?  :)

Like the Sgt that showed us the seat said most modern jets are equipped with zero/zero seats,
I believe the PC-9 dont use them because of the operating speed difference.
