Just out of curiosity, are there radio freqs for the airshow?

I've never tried to listen in before so I don't know if we can or not.

Depending on which site you go to the current forecast is saying it'll be either:

Sunny on Saturday with light showers on Sunday

OR

Light showers on Saturday and sunny on Sunday.

Hi all,

Another stupid question. I can't make it on the Saturday now, but I will be staying up there Saturday evening and attending on the Sunday, are the Tornados and F-16 displaying on both days? I'll assume so as single day displays are marked on the NI Airshow website.

Cheers

Colin

Update on the Vulcan- (taken from the vulcan website)

12 noon. Thursday 1st September - update:
Taff reports that the engineers have now replenished the hydraulic system and fault finding is underway. Most support equipment is already in place with lifting jacks now enroute on a flat bed lorry from Doncaster.

More information when possible

I'd not read too much into the BBC announcement. I think the Reds are only doing a limited number of special events.

NIAirshow organisers have said a week ago they won't be appearing and I imagine they have already filled/rescheduled the slots.

Er, it clearly states in the article that they are not coming to Portrush.

When Mr Smoketoomuch posted the link to the article,  I think it said that they would be appearing at Portrush, obviously it has since been changed. :)

Ok, the cars packed for any weather conditions (hot thermos and spade) at the Port for the next few days. Are there any confirmed times for fast jets both days and time for the Vulcan if serviceable.

Don't worry your head about times - the programme can change if any aircraft becomes unavailable for whatever reason.
