The way the weather is getting colder earlier every year I'm nearly tempted to put money on a blizzard hitting that weekend.....   :LOL

I think I might be washing my hair that weekend ;D

Any word of a change of venue as hinted at by TTF?
I hope the organisers take on board the criticism of many of this years show, and hopefully make a success of it.
I`m sure all of us on here want the show to be a success, but in order to do that big changes need to be made.

I have never made it to this show as I am usually away on the Saturday and flying home on the Sunday but from everything I have seen and read it appears that this show continues to disappoint.

The aircraft appear to be good but weather and location logistics are difficult.

Would it be worthwhile having a contact with the organisers by members of this forum with some constructive suggestions???

If they can't get helicopters for next years show then they should stop now.

Those of us who went this year saw how the show suffered for the lack of them.

Saw them at Leuchars last September although then they were only a flight of four.

Still very cool though  ;D

TTF does provide the site with info on the show every year, as and when it can be given to the public. I'm sure he'll provide more info as it becomes available :)

Oh well,I can dream.

I would settle for one Hunter, they are such a fantastic aircraft and make a great noise;have been Hunters and Portrush in the past-maybe G-PSST "Miss Demenour" would be available?

I wonder where the possible new venue is-Portstewart Strand perhaps?

Hopefully the show organisers will take on board many of the issues raised here by forum members, and push to get a good line-up with better organisation;especially traffic management.

Any word on the possible venue change that was mentioned in earlier posts?

I would like to support this show, dispite it`s flaws it`s really the only local airshow we have had for the past few years.

Seems unlikely that Newtownards will have an airshow anytime soon, despite the UFC`s 50 birthday this year.

Let`s hope the organising committee can make some improvements to this years show, and bring it back to the high standard it used to achieve.
