The surprise is probably that there is no surprise  :P

Does any one know what time it starts at tomorrow? I assumed it began at 12 but I think I read that it started at 11 today?

All flying displays start at 12 , the helos arrive in to the tennis courts at 11.40 approx. The Model flying on the beach starts at 11.

I'll be heading up early aswell, hoping to get a quick look around the main area with the stalls, get a quick chippy and then head to the Black Rock cliffs on the left hand side of the bay for the start at 12. Already packing the raincoat aswell  :)

IMPORTANT.   Because of expected low cloud later this afternoon, times for Vulcan   and f16 might be brought forward in order for them to use full ceiling   height. Pilots are meeting at the moment and we will keep you informed.

Gutted. Couldn't make it this year - car trouble and my wife's work hours conspired against me :(

Where did you hear this? Any word on the F16's time?

If that is true that is a complete joke. The Vulcan was the only thing on the website to have a time beside it. So many people would come to see just it.

The organisers will lose a lot of fans over this I'm sure.

IMPORTANT.   Latest times: Vulcan at 1.40 and f16 at 3.00. We realise that might   disappoint some late arrivers but it's better than losing them

The announcer said because of the weather later in the day the pilots wanted to bring the display forward. He then said something about 1.41pm (could not make out anything else) and that the pilots are speaking now about what to do.

1.40pm for the Vulcan and 3.00pm for the F16...

Cue the angry mob....

(To be honest... looking at the weather forecast - if the Vulcan had been kept in the 5pm slot, I doubt it would have even displayed - I know it may upset a lot of people who were planning to come down for 5pm, but it's better having the display for some fans rather than none at all.)

Think the f-16's have cancelled their display too due to cloud cover.

Just back from the show, the Vulcan was scheduled for 1.41pm but due to adverse weather couldn't get across, announcer said they would make every effort to get across but didn't sound good. Tornado duo displayed ok, then the weather started to move in from Donegal, thats when I left. F16 yesterday was fantastic looking forward to seeing some good photos.

Belgian Airforce F-16 = Wowee!!

What an amazing display. Really showed the aircraft off well. Makes you stand up and take note of Belgium's airforce!

Always wanted to see an F-16 and I was totally satisfied. Noisy bugger too which I was most impressed with. Great plane, and amongst the best displays we have ever had over here. Loved the way the pilot wasn't afraid to use plenty of reheat right through the display.

The Vulcan no show was a dissapointment but the F-16 was outstanding and this a more memorable show. Thanks to Tango Tango for a much better line this year with more 'proper' jets and noise!

The display line seemed better too. The F-16 came close in towards the crowd a few times which was great!
