Baggage handler's call to freedom
« on: April 20, 2007, 11:02:07 AM »
A baggage handler locked in the hold of a plane at Dublin Airport had to call colleagues on his mobile phone as the plane was about to take off.
The Aer Lingus Airbus 330, bound for New York, was taxi-ing for take-off on 28 December, 2005, when his phone call raised the alarm.

Air traffic control recalled the plane so he could be freed.
