Malta airshow
« on: September 27, 2011, 09:27:44 AM »
Small if very interesting show lasting from 1 to 5.30 with arrivals ad departures of scheduled flights in-between

I access to the departures ramp on Monday along with about 100 members of the Malta Aviation Society

Its also a great place for a holiday

 :goodjob:

Great shots Paul.

The Malta Airshow is something I've given serious thought to going to (that and I've always wanted to visit Malta).

I take it you'd recommend it  :)

Totally recommend it as a really interesting spot loads to do and look at never mind an airshow and the sun shines, sitting in the airport to come home and I haven't seen the half of the place.

Some cracking shot`s there Paul-Malta is a great place, and I especially like the people who are very friendly.
Loads of old 1960`s and 70`s car`s around the place as well. :)

Very nice Paul, some nice aircraft in there, especially the P-3 Orion. Was the Dornier Metroliner part of the airshow or regular traffic?

Cheers Guys
The Metro is a C-26 of the US Navy and was in for the show if anyone is thinking of going you need to join the Malta Aviation Society to get this type of access, just don't cross the white line
