US Army C23 Sherpa's
« on: December 17, 2011, 04:04:16 PM »
Not one...  Not two....  But three US Army Sherpa's arrived into Casement between 11.40 and  12.20 today ... Unfortunately I was not able to catch their arrival..  Hopefully I might catch them on the way out...

No word on why they are here... They were using the callsigns PAT 334 .. PAT 321 and PAT 331 so perhaps they are over to see if we want to join NATO...    :LOL
On a Serious note there have been a few US visitors recently, mostly US Marine Corps KC-130s so hopefully Casement is now being used to stage through instead of Shannon...

Would make sense giving that it's a military base.

Perhaps a dumb question but where are the Sherpas coming from?

Not sure where they are at present so no eta.

 these are 93-1321 PAT321, 93-1331 PAT331 & 93-1334 PAT334 (with 93-1330 PAT330 being the one that didn't get away)

Alan

They departed EIME between 12.15 and 12.35 on route to the US....
