Sunday morning at BFS was ideal for Contrail shots,but very little traffic overhead;then later the cloud rolled in-boo!

AT if the MD-11 was taken yesterday I think it might have been a World Airways one. I was tracking it online but it was to far away for me to get a decent photo.

I managed to catch a few contrails between watching the kids and the Rugby today... ;D

It started out nice and sunny....

It didnt stay sunny too long... it was overcast by noon... ::)

Caught this as it flew over while I was taking another contrail shot. When I looked at the shot in the camera I thought there was a fault with the screen as I could see small lines on it...  However it wasn't until I saw the shot on the computer screen that I realized it was the props leaving their own small contrails....

Yes its a lovely cloudless sunny day ... But it's also a contrail less sky too.....   have had lots of aircraft overhead this morning and not even a slight vapour trail...
