Dublin Airport 27-01-12

A very, very cold January day waiting on the 787 Dreamliner to appear. Some shots as we waited.

Is the viewing pretty easy to get at at Dublin? Do you need to shoot through a fence or is there a mound you can stand on?

this gives you an idea of one of the spotting areas. There's a small mound to the left but it wouldn't take more than 5 or 6 people at a pinch, and a small set of step ladders would help even more.

Also if you're feeling adventurous there's this crash barrier at the other side of the airport that will get you up above the fence and some very nice close ups.

Very nice guys! Don, yours look like they were taken from a completely different day!

I take it you guys missed the Aer Lingus retro, it arrived a few minutes after you zoomed past us tooting.  ;D

The rest of my pics for the day. A measily 10 pics in total for the day.  :-\

And just to rub salt in our wounds, this A320 departed only a minute after the 787.  >:(  Oh the light we could've had!  :-\

Cheers Paul, the Skyteam 757 seems to be a regular, thats the 3rd time I've seen it out of 4 Dublin visits.
