« on: March 04, 2012, 12:48:02 PM »
The Red Arrows Display Team is to fly using 7 aircraft this year for displays, but will operate as a 9-ship for some flypasts.
The team will return to using 9 aircraft in 2013.

Flt Lt Kirsty Stewart is leaving the team.

I guess 7 is still better than 0, probably inevitable after the two tragedies last year.

I think that second article is extremely unfair to Flt Lt Stewart-the whole team where affected by the two tragic deaths last year, and I doubt very much she was the only one who considered a reposting.

The story comes from a "defence source" and The Sun Newspaper-that says it all. :-X
