Smudge this is a brilliant piece of software for removing noise
http://www.neatimage.com/
It'll work free on images up to 1024px but you have to purchase it for anything larger. I've used it on images shot at iso6400 and it does a great job.

Caught this KLM 747 the other day. It's amazing how much of a difference a few thousand feet can make when shooting at 300mm. This was at around 33,000ft when they normally are around 35,000ft and the quality I get is usually alot less than this.

I would like to get one of those pesky Icelandair Cargo B757`s,but they seem not to like over flying NI,and especially BFS area;they have a good colour scheme.

Quite a bit of cloud over BFS at the mo,but I notice an Air France B777 might be heading our way, heading to Montreal, approaching Liverpool now.

TF-FIG is currently headed straight for BFS if he stays on course;I wonder will it do the normal, and drift away over the Irish Sea?

Swine just turned onto a different heading that will take him over Scotland-it`s no big deal, just a little annoying.
Sometimes they sneak in round Sligo and across to Drogheda direction.
