I think it's about time Northern Ireland had it's own Air Ambulance. Show your support here by signing a petition asking for Lottery funding

It definitely would be and from what I can gather we're the only place in the UK that doesn't have one.

They probably do if asked. I seem to remember that this was in the remit of 72 squadron so I'm assuming it something similar for 230 squadron.

Just a little bump to ask any of the newer members to show their support of this worthy cause by signing the online petition asking for lottery funding. SUrely if they can give money to the most obscure organisations they can give to this.

That's what's wrong with this country - he who deserves most receives least and vice versa.
 :-X :-X

As far as the lottery is concerned Camelot need to be kicked into touch,so much money wasted on ridiculous projects over the years.

It'd be nice if they did Wayne, I won't hold my breath though, as none of the UK's Air Ambulance services get any help from the Lottery, Govt. , NHS etc.... it's all done by public/corporate donations and advertising.

Is it not possible to tell your employer (or the government) that you want so much of your tax to go to Alpha 5? Or is it possible to set up a standing order to pay a certain amount to the air ambulance?
