Enniskillen (St Angelo) Airport - 03-08-08

Will be passing St. Angelo to morrow and will be calling in to take a few snaps. Other than the airshow last year I've never been to it so looking forward to it.

I emailed them at the start of the week just to make sure it was ok to take photos around the place. Got a very nice reply saying that it wasn't a problem and if I need any assistance just to give the tower a call Can't wait.

R22 G-HARR,G-HRHE / R44 G-CEKX,G-ETNT,G-OTTZ,G-CCWD,G-SRPH and also AW139 M-ERIT.
Fixed wing included G-JOYT,G-TABI,N45PJ,G-UFCI,G-CCFI,G-TAFC and G-BXJW.

You should get pics of G-ORHE,N888DM and N642P as they are normally parked on the new apron.

Really enjoyed the visit today. Only stayed about 20 minutes but boy was it busy - there was a number of aircraft doing circuits and touch and goes. Here's a few photos

I got those two around 1700hrs.I heard them on the radio about 10 miles out,so i drove down to take a few pics 

They were the only 'non-robbies' at the field today

If the weather holds up I'm hoping to get to the City airport tomorrow so hopefully I'll have a few more to post.

It's a Bank Holiday down South tomorrow - may get a few visitors at EGAB,as Mondays are fairly quiet - apart from a few movements in and out of Sloane Helicopters.

This Pitts (G-FARL) was in today and done a few aerobatic manoeuvres.Had a King Air (G-SPOR) in for a short time also.

Nice one - are there many 109s are EGAB? I sometimes see them flying over Lurgan.

There's one based here (EI-MIT) and quite a few visit Sloane for maintenance.
