Another bad day for Boeing, reports of an engine cowling detaching from a Southwest Airlines flight operating a
Boeing 737-800 type.
Could well be something as simple as the cowling not being secured correctly during flightcrew walk around, has happened before. I think some airlines use a tech to do the walkarounds, but I`m not certain of that.
To my mind it should be one of the pilots,they sign the aircraft off.
