1030 Noted RAF Hawk T1 XX177 of the Red Arrows OTT Aviemore area, enroute to Canada for Maple Hawk Tour 2024.

Hope it all goes well for them.

They are at Stornoway with RAF A400 Atlas Zm421 RRR4202 as their support aircraft.
Be interesting to see if they release a documentary about their trip again like they did with the American tour.
 I take it the hawk wouldn't have the range to make it to Iceland in one hop? I remember their last trip that one if the jets had an issue I think in Iceland and didn't make it to the stop at Greenland.

There's 2 RAF P-8 Poseidon heading for Iceland one is currently in a holding pattern just of Icelands coast and the other is just indront of the A400. I wonder if it's just coincidence or are they traveling stateside with them?

Not sure re the P-8s, maybe they followed for a while to get some photos/video.
The Hawk T1 hasn't got air to air refueling capability,so the transit to Canada has to be carefully planned in stages.
