Antonov just off the north coast heading our way.
UR-82007 - ANTONOV An-124 departed 16:27
Yea, I found it, only to see it has recently departed. :o
0918 Antonov Design Bureau An-124 Ruslan UR-82007 landed BFS as ADB383F from KEF.
1614 Departed BFS for YMX as ADB3883 according to the info I have.
I wonder does it still sit for 10 mins, spooling up the engines before actually departing ?. They used to.

The last couple before this one sat for 10 mins. Didn't hear today but. But I would say it did.
Allegedly (and largely per an occasionally bad tempered thread on PPRuNe) the long engine run prior to departure is to expand the turbine casings and so increase the overall longevity of the engines, which are somewhat sub state of the art.

Some on PPrune are well known for getting their under garments in a gyroscopic tangle. ;D
