Title: Odd C-130J Hercules
Post by: angry turnip on Aug 11, 2025, 13:57
Has anyone else noticed an unusual C-130J Hercules that has been operating in England past few weeks with a civvie reg N352MJ ?
Possibly a wrongly configured transponder?

N352MJ should be a Bombardier BD-100-1A10 Challenger 350

I've saw a few people on other forums etc mention there's a few USAF herc's using the wrong hex code.

I also noticed RAF A400 ZM417 divert back to Brize Norton earlier from Hanover. They where in German airspace and probably getting ready for the descent in but turned and landed back at Brize Norton .

It's 352SOW playing silly beggars.  The 352 from the wing number and the MJ as a contraction of MC-130J.

752SOG at the same thing.  There's been some discussion about whether or not these IDs move between aircraft.
