Title: Turkish air force C-130 crash
Post by: rookie on Nov 11, 2025, 16:41
I'm hearing reports of Turkish air force Lockheed C-130E 68-01609 that's has broken up in flight over Georgia enroute to Turkey from Azerbaijan. Reports also say there was 20 Turkish troops on board.

There is video supposedly showing the aircraft wreckage falling from the sky, but unconfirmed as yet.

If that video is legit, and I think it is, it looks awful. Breakup in mid flight.

There are also pictures of wreckage on the ground and it's definitely C130 material.

Absolutely horrible. Reminds me of the USMC KC130 that came apart mid air in 2017

Sadly no one has survived. 20 on board.
