Title: Crappy Ejection Seat
Post by: angry turnip on Apr 18, 2026, 19:18
A Indian Airforce pilot had a lucky escape after they had ejected from their Sukhoi Su-30MKI,which had a nosegear collapse. The ejection seat did not function correctly, and the pilot ended up with a very sore backside.

Rectum,damn near killed him

Video of incident here....   https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JjWvUYxGmIw

I would say it looks ai . There's no sparks during the collapse or when it's sliding on the tarmac.

I found footage on this link. Looks to be dark out when it happened.

TBH,I was reading about the incident and had a look to see if there was footage, that came up, I only watched it once and thought it did look a bit suspect, but I thought it would be of interest.
After checking and google translate, it confirmed it`s AI.

I wasn`t trying to dupe anyone. :-[

There are some sparks from one of the drop tanks, also the nosewheel did not completely collapse, if you look closely you will see the nose wheel is stil keeping the nose clear of the ground.

Your Facebook clip could be from hours after the accident,so I don`t think that comes into play.
AI used properly is scary enough, it`s rife on social media. Have to admit this one is pretty well done, and the accident did happen for real as per ASN.

No 100% agree with you AT that AI is rife everywhere at the moment (There were a few AI images from the fuel protests that had managers panicking but the roads where clear). Yeah I'm not doubting the accident didn't happen just the video as agreed  looks a little suspect. When I was looking for little more info in it, I found several links but that's the only video of the aircraft the rear where off the passengers stranded in the airport. The news reports did say late on Friday night. But hey ho thanks to AI alot of people either don't want to believe what they see or believe everything they do, thanks to the times we're in now.

I wonder if this is one of Martin Baker's seats?

If so then it's the first failure I'm aware of.

Not Martin Baker. SU30s have a K-36DM made by a Russian company called NPP Zvezda
