Rumour that an AN124 is due around 13:30.  Don't shoot the messenger if it's not the case!

My sister sent me a screenshot of a post from Airsnide NI.  I do feel some folk think that when an Antonov is arriving, they expect it to be the 225?  Just the way they talk about it etc.  Obviously the 225 is done.

Two currently airborne.

1143 ANTONOV An-124 Ruslan UR-82027 is west of Denmark as ADB5524.

1150 Antonov An-124 Ruslan UR-82007 as ADB330F is approaching Netherlands heading west,I expect it's the one for BFS.

If it's this one, would fit in with the 1330 timeframe - although he seems to be heading north, for an Atlantic track?

I had not finished typing, ;D it's UR-82007 that's heading BFS way I think.

Interesting how there's always a runway inspection right after a 124 arrives  ::)

Was there? We took off right after it (pushed back when it was landing) and didnt see any inspection.

It was standard procedure at BFS to do so after an AN-124 or other heavy 4-engined heavy had landed, when I worked there, I imagine that is still the case. It`s just a matter of sending an ops vehicle down the runway at 30mph or so to look for any possible debris that could be a FOD hazard,

Two vehicles joined the runway not long after it landed
