This story is so weird,I had to share it.How do you eat yours?
In our house the procedure was to gently tap the Tea Cake on your forehead to crack the chocolate, then unwrap it and pick the chocolate off. Yes life was simpler back in the day LOL  ;D

I'm still not sure about it. It was originally posted by the British forces  news on the 1st April. If it is an April fool its pretty bad reporting on BBC behalf.

The story definitely predates April 1st (at least this year), I would have sworn it was covered in one of the "Boys" books, but a cursory glance through the V Force related ones didn't turn anything up, it's annoying me because I know I've read it somewhere recently.  Anyway, the website of former Red Arrows PRO (and ex Victor driver) Tony Cunnane definitely mentions it, although it's now offline. But available through the Wayback Machine.

Exploding Tea Cakes

Edit - The print story, whatever it is in, spoke of crews running a kind of competition to see who could generate the biggest teacake.
