EGAC - Belfast City Airport - 28/10/08
« on: October 28, 2008, 10:53:30 PM »
Exactly a month on from my last BFS spotting thread, I went on another short spotting session at BHD. Due to the the different wind approach, take offs and landings were on runway 04, giving me my first chance to take photos from the railway bridge at the old entrance.

It was a sunny, but cold day and I had my girlfriend and young cousin with me so we didn't stay for too long. Unfortunately it was between 2 and 3pm thus the sun was getting to the stage where it was back lighting the aircraft. This location is only good before and up to 1.30pm. Still it was nice photographing aircraft from a different angle.

Upon editting my photos, I believe I have a serious flaw in my editting process as all my photos look slightly odd after editting. It must be the way I sharpen.

Any how, here are some of the photos. I like the last two however the fence covers the wheel of one aircraft ruining the photo. Sorry about all my blabbering, I'm just excited by this spotting location.

Nice pics.

Do you use Photoshop to process your photos?

Thanks for the comments. The photos are indeed edited with photoshop afterwards however my editing skills are not too great at the moment. Also I find that many of my photos end up at a 2 or 3 degree angle! It's hard keeping the camera straight with the horizon.

The weekend promised some great clear weather so some great spotting opportunites coming up!

This can be easily fixed in Photoshop
