Cheap and cheerful?
« on: September 23, 2006, 10:55:13 PM »
With the introduction of the Eurofighter and the development of the F-35 and the recent email from Afghanistan about the RAF being 'utterly, utterly useless', I'm starting to wondering if it would be more advisable for the government to buy cheaper aircraft.

I mean with the airforce being stretched the way it is is it not better to buy more 'cheap' aircraft than less of the more expensive ones?
