Chalet tickets to be £59 until 31 January 2016 and £69 if bought thereafter.

Up a £10 / £14 repectively from last year... ouch

Yeah, saw that yesterday when I got the email. I am tempted to check out Silver Wings but was quite happy with my spot this year, so will probably just head back to it.

I am worried what 2016 holds for airshows in the wake of Shoreham. I could see a potential reduction in classic jets for all shows.

I would say insurance prices have gone up for booking aircraft, so price rise is to cover those costs.

But that is just my thoughts.

Interesting to note, the NCAA College American football is on, on the 3rd September in Dublin and the USAF usually support it with flypasts. Would be good if Portrush could tie something in with it

Plunked-down my money for chalet tickets before the early-bird offer ends tomorrow.

Decided to do the two days at Portrush rather than spending the money on staying-over for the Newcastle 'show'.

Vulcan was a very big draw, as was the Lancaster pair in 2014. Will be hard to match this year.

Still, it's a great accolade for the organisers.

Good to see they are displaying both days,hopefully open show one day and close the next day,like last time-I see they are doing a show Bakewell Derbyshire on the 4th also.

So it could be they could close the show on Saturday,and open it on Sunday,or better still open the show both days,and that would ease the traffic problems to some extent.

Would that be the Dutch Historic flight B-25 PH-XXV.its displayed at Portrush before,and a great display it was too-lovely engine note.

Yeah, it is the Dutch one I believe. I saw a statement a day or so ago and think they said it was coming from Holland.

Seeing a lot of videos and photos from the Red Arrows 9 ship practices. Looks like new formations in 'Tornado' and 'Typhoon'

As well as some other 9 ship rolls and the Syncro pair being added to the 'Goose'

Could be an interesting display. I love the aircraft formations they do. Concorde and Spitfire were my favorite two.
