Just my luck....
« on: June 28, 2009, 12:24:16 PM »
this morning started off misty here but cleared up nicely by 10am so i decided to take a spin over to EIDW which is only 15 min's away....When i got there it was all misty again and the shots i did get are not too good.. But i do like the vapor on some of them .... ;D     This is a brand new addition to the Ryanair fleet i was told..  Then it started to brighten up just as i was getting ready to leave..... ::)  i'll try and do some editing on them later and see if i can improve them..... ;D

Nice range of aircraft! How long were you there for? Delta 767-400 again!  ;D Also good to see the Air Canada 767 there, I desperately want to see it. Runway 10 is the best for arrivals!

  Hi Dave ... I only was there for about 90 mins had to rush off to a match otherwise i would have stayed a bit longer...i agree about 10 being good for arrivals...if i had more time i would have went up the departure end and got some rotation shots.... Sunday seems to be a good day to catch a lot of the rarer aircraft.... heres a few more pic's this time with a bit of work done....

Some great shots, the 2 Delta 767's in the first post were well caught. About the S7 aircraft, it will be an A319;

Unfortunately the weathers not looking so good for Dublin this week. I'm flying out from Dublin on Wednesday and returning Thursday, all with Ryanair  ;D

Do you have photoshop Don?

Yes i do have photshop Dave but the visibility this morning was really bad so i don't think i would be able to improve the pic's too much....it really was bad haze and mist and they were doing cat 2 approaches ....the weather mightn't be too bad for you on wedensday and Thursday according to the local forcast....from the met eireann site....From Wednesday to Friday a large area of low pressure will become slow moving in the Atlantic and will continue to feed up warm, humid air over Ireland from the south. All parts of the country can expect periods of very pleasant fine weather, with a good deal of sunshine - while temperatures will continue to reach the low to mid twenties. However, on occasions, bands of rain or showers will be carried up in the airflow and, given the high temperatures, there is always a danger of some locally heavy, thundery downpours.... usually when there are showers they tend to get diverted from EIDW by the Wicklow mountains.... ;)

Despite the weather you got a nice selection of shots. I particularly like the way you've caught the vapour on the Aer Lingus jet in #3.
