Hi guys,

New member...only discovered our local forum this week, after years on PPrune!

Anyway, a few pics from today...from the Heron Road side of the airfield.

Regards,

Sam

Hi Sam and welcome to the forum. Nice sets of photos and you seem to have got the weather. Did it just do a single pass?

Thanks Casper,

She did one approach and go round from the north onto 22, then a fairly tight right hand circuit to do a second pass. Gear and flaps down both times, and then departed straight out to the south, climbing fairly impressively as she went. The climb, and her relative silence were the most impressive features of the show...and she has a big, big wing!

Also, was at BFS for the return of the Reds at 1230...lovely low level pass at speed down 25 before breaking alternative birds left and right. The lead aircraft, on a right hand circuit, the second on left hand and so on. The first aircraft then turned back onto 25 before even coming back as far as the Antrim / Nutts Corner roundabout. A very tight turn! Fantastic sight from the Killead Road, with all nine birds basically turning in right overhead...and to be repeated tomorrow around 1730!
