Michael Thank you for your enquiry regarding Heli Challenge. The Event is not an official spectator event in that there is no entry fee to watch. There is the picnic area which will be open to the general public and from this vantage point you will be able to watch all the helicopter movements during the day. Hope this helps
Michael At the moment we have 17 competing aircraft with 26 competing teams. Some will be sharing Aircraft. The largest will be a Eurocopter EC135 and the smallest will be a Robinson R22. With everything in between. We expect to also have a good sized number of other visiting helicopters who will not be competing. From the feedback we are getting from local pilots Sunday should be a very active day here at the Airport, both with visitors and competitors. It should be an excellent helicopter spectacle. Look forward to seeing you if you can attend. Regards
