Mrs AT and I noticed that strangely enough - I was in our garden and Mrs AT came back from a walk and said " did you see how low that Sunwing was ? " I had seen it too,but didn`t think too much of it.

Although the simulator results cannot be considered definitive, and aircraft performance will be investigated further with the manufacturer, they suggest that, in similar circumstances on the incident flight:
a. Had the pilot decided to abandon the takeoff, the aircraft could have stopped in the runway remaining.
b. Had the pilot decided to continue the takeoff, the aircraft might not have had sufficient performance to climb away safely.

Very smart of the 2 flight deck to fly on and get the voice box recorded over, wonder wat was said on rotation other than ffs get the hell up!

Scary stuff indeed - from my viewpoint it did look like a slow and lower than normal climb out,but I didn`t realise it was so serious.

Glad I'm only reading this now as I was on that aircraft two days later going to Tenerife. The older I'm getting, the more I'm beginning to dislike flying as it is. (I know, there's no rationale to it.)

Serious enough incident but so glad it wasn't worse.
