I wonder if it flew in the direction of Lurgan. I can't remember the exact time but I can remember seeing a 4 engine heavy overhead this afternoon. Couldn't get a good look at it as I was busy :(

Ahhh great catch. Now that Air France have their first a380, the bird will be making an appearance more often over us. Congrats on the first sighting of it, hopefully there will be many more!

Hi Guys

I use the Radarbox and have this tagged so he has been across here daily from last Monday Callsign is Airfrance 06 and 07 on the return leg. He has been overhead NI at around 2.15pm to 2.30pm. His track today Casper was from North of Blackpool across the IOM and then overhead me here in Bangor. He coasted out over Portrush. On Saturday he was closer to Lurgan.
I'll try when not at work to give a heads up when he is in our neck of the woods.

Hi Yes if he routes across e.g. Bangor then Aldergrove he goes out over the North Coast between Portrush and Rathlin.

I'm off on leave Friday and Monday so I'll try and get notification on here ASAP when I find him airborne on the Radarbox. If the weather plays ball we might all get a chance to see him then.

Just in case anybody is wondering about the Air France A380, it hasn't operated it's flights all week, and has been replaced by a Being 777-300ER. It seems Air France is having large problems with their single A380 as it's giving them almost constant technical delays. The Second Air France A380 delivery has also been delayed until later into February.

Typical - suppose it'll be another 3 or 4 weeks before it's viewable.
