Dublin tomorrow

Might be heading down for a rare Saturday at Dublin if anyone is about I will be the big one in the red hat

I wouldn't risk coming down as the traffic conditions around Dublin are very bad at the moment, We had heavy snow last night and its made travel very difficult, i was sitting here 7 miles from the airport today and even though the light would have been great for taking pics i wouldn't risk the journey, All Buses were canceled today and i reckon tomorrow will be just as bad..... Hers what the AA say...

*EXTREMELY POOR DRIVING CONDITIONS THROUGHOUTDUBLIN**Gardai and the AA are advising against any unnecessary travel in mostareas due to extremely hazardous conditions. Secondary routes in allareas are treacherous. Gardai are reporting severe ice on the followingroutes:• The N4 is icy both ways from the SCR jct to the Chapelizod Bypass.The slip road at J3 Lucan is also very slippery. • The Strawberry Beds& Tinkers Hill are impassable due to icy conditions. Hillcrest Rdis extremely icy.• Treacherous conditions on Bluebell Ave at the junction with KylemoreRd. • Very slippery conditions on Brookfield Rd in Kilmainham.• The Island Bridge, Chapelizod and Parkgate St gates are closed in thePhoenix Park due to extremely icy conditions. Avoid the area wherepossible.• Knockmaroon Hill is closed due to ice.
•   Raheny Rd is extremely dangerous, particularly at the Hill Top SC.•   Avoid Tonligee Rd and also the Howth Rd at Sybill Hill. Icy in Malahide on Yellow Walls Rd.•   Continue to drive with extreme care on the M50 southbound from J13 Ballinteer to the M11.•   Newtown Park Ave getting onto the N11 is impassable due to ice. Take Carysfort Ave as an alternative. •   Motorists reporting extremely icy conditions on the N11, in particular northbound at Foxrock.•   Glenageary Rd Lwr is impassable due to ice.•   Reports of black ice on Seapoint Ave, Blackrock.•   Extremely poor conditions on Kill Avenue.•   Gardai are warning of icy conditions on the Griffith Ave.
*AIRTRAVEL* Flight operations have recommenced that Dublin AirportPassengers are advised to check with their carrier for updates beforetravelling to Airport.*BUS TRAVEL* Dublin Bus services will not be running on any routes forthe rest of the evening due to the road conditions. The situation willbe reassessed tomorrow (Sat 2nd January). * Bus Eireann services out ofDublin have resumed with the exception of Ballina/Sligo services whichremain cancelled due to poor conditions in Longford.

Sorry Paul, normally I'd jump at the chance however I was down only a few days ago and I'm heading down again on Wednesday to catch a flight... theres only so much of Dublin Airport I can take in such a space of time  ;D

Too cold and possibly too dangerous for my liking to head down to Dublin;I have gone down to Dublin on 1st Jan for the past few years but give it a miss this year-must be getting soft in my old age. ;)
 
If the skies stay blue up here I`ll venture out for a look.
