RN: Sea Harrier retirement - right or wrong
« on: January 05, 2007, 02:06:56 PM »
Seems to me that it was stupid of the British Royal Navy to retire it's only dedicated air defence fighter before it's replacement is ready to enter service. The first JSF isn't scheduled to enter service in the UK until 2012 - 5 years relying on a dedicated ground attack aircraft (Harrier GR7) to protect the fleet.
