Two French Air Force Rafale collide at Cognac Airshow
« on: May 22, 2022, 06:44:39 PM »
Looks like the two Rafale aircraft collided today during an airshow. Thankfully both managed to land safely and no serious injuries to the pilots. The falling debris damaged a house in Gensac-la-Pallue, however, no one on the ground was injured

Don`t tell the Daily Fail   ::)

Great that no one was seriously hurt, doubtless the " ban airshows " squad will be all over this.

Seems one bit was the horizontal tail tip..

Seems one bit was the wingtip missile launch rail.
Surprised someone wasn't away with it and posting  it on ebay ;D

I think that's the tip of the tail fin if I'm not mistaken??

I think you are correct now that I look at it, yes seems to match. Caption I found said it was a wingtip missile rail, but you can see the green lamp that would be on oneside.

I was turning the picture all shapes trying to figure it out and it didn't make sense to me . It just looked to bulky .
