U.S. Shoot down "unidentified object" in Alaskan Airspace.

It's either two balloons down (and 97 to go) or the Vogons are going to be really upset.

The US has shot down an unknown object flying in its airspace, off the coastline of Alaska - just days after it downed a Chinese "spy" balloon.

The object, shot down on the order of President Joe Biden, was flying at a high-altitude of about 40,000 feet and was the size of a small car, the White House said.

It posed a "reasonable threat" to the safety of civilian flights, said John Kirby, the White House National Security Council spokesman.

It was unclear where the object came from.

"We don't know who owns this object," said Mr Kirby

I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace.
@NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.

You'd swear they were phrasing these statements to encourage Roswell style speculation.

And now another in Montana tonight.

But yes, UFO theories are rife on twitter tonight after this was put out by CNN

BREAKING: Some pilots that interacted with the object over Alaska said that it "interfered with their sensors". Some pilots also claimed to have seen no identifiable propulsion on the object, and could not explain how it was staying in the air

Russia, China and or North Korea are likely behind these "craft". I doubt very much they are anything other than UAV`s or balloons and it`s just to stir up tension, or to divert attention from events in Ukraine.
I do find it difficult to believe that the US claim not to know where these things are being launched from.
One thing is pretty certain, they are not alien craft, think about, which is more likely ? China or others wanting to test US intercept response tactics and times, or is it an ET craft full of Tribble`s ?

It might even be the US themselves wanting to stir the pot a little. It sounds like some thing out of James Bond movie, You Only Live Twice, which was on ITV4 over the past few days.

Airspace in  Ontario Canada closed due to 'on going military operation' so looks like another 'UFO'

And another in the US

The Beeb are running the story now, I doubt this is anything new, the west does it to them, and they do it back.
