Concorde's Last Flight

Anyone watch this on Channel 4 last night. Very interesting, especially some of the stories and facts - like the disagreements over how it would be spelt, with an e or without it. Another one was the fact that it could use up 2 ton of fuel just taxing from the ramp to the runway. And when told to get the Concorde operation into profit within 2 years a team was put together and they asked flyers how much they thought a ticket for Concorde cost. Most didn't know as their secretaries or companies booked the tickets. The majority of them quoted prices that were much higher than the actual cost so the ticket price was raised and Concorde became profitable - simple

A great programme and very informative.I remember videoing the BBC`s coverage of the last Concorde flights into Heathrow;it was very sad and still make s me angry that Concorde isn`t flying anymore.
 
Was great to see the crowds of people that went up to Aldergrove to see Concorde come into BFS for the last time-it was a really sad day but was well worth standing in the cold.

A well produced programme, quite sad as well. Makes me realise how much I miss Concorde, I only got to see it fly once as a kid. Would be VERY happy if they got one flying again.
